Save The Cheerleader, Save The World

I've been busy with midterms, and the fact that I'm an extremely slow blogger (this post took me almost 90 minutes) makes it even harder for me to update as often as I'd like, and the results are these extremely long entries. But I try... and here it goes.

Heroes is turning out to be a great show. If you haven't seen it well, it's time to start. Catch it online. I especially love the paintings... I honestly will pay money to put one of them up on my wall (see above). Also, Lost is getting crazy as well, and the NBA is starting tomorrow. I think it's time I get the DVR since I really, really don't have the time to do all of these...

Someone got stabbed at the halal cart saturday morning... craziness. Next time I go I'm bringing my bulletproof vest.

Don't cut the line if you don't want to get stabbed.

Last friday was the annual Halloween Party at Suny-O and people definitely stepped up the costumes this year:

Mike and the Granny

My favorite one... Yoshi was awesome.

Winner of the Best Costume contest.

This is real.

Thanks for starting the night with Ice, Ice, Baby.

Cops and robber.

Elmo, Oscar and the Count with Mario and Luigi.

Lugging the keg to the party...

...bringing the keg back. I'm tellin' ya, there is nothing more ludicrous than walking through Time Square with a keg.

I might as well put out some pictures from the "Wines and Nibbles" faculty-student get-together earlier in the month:

Yap (his first and last beer), Seila and Newman

Ash, Me, Mike

B.Lee (our new resident DJ) and Krista

09' ladies (and maura's sis).

My lil' bro Billy.

On a separate note, I've lost my boy James to his new girlfriend. Here's a tribute :

Thinking of the day, when you went away. Every single day, every time I pray, I'll be missing you...

And finally, two saturdays ago I joined up with some CTE people for NY Cares Day and we painted some schools. It was surprisingly fun and rewarding. Here are more pics, but this is what I helped out with:

Hopscotch #1.

Hopscotch #2.

Baseball bases and field (kickball on the far side). Who knew drawing straight lines would be this tough?

Well, if you get this far down... this is all I have... till after finals probably.
